Construct A Future Fundraiser 2018

On a beautiful day in June nearly 200 people gathered at Buckmore Park in Kent to take part in a two hour endurance race. The 31 teams came from very different organisations including contractors, manufacturers, building supplies, public sector organisations and other like minded charities.

Fortunately we had perfect conditions for the racers and the spectators and it would become the most competitive but most importantly injury free race with the eventual winners Aztec Warriors completing 121 laps.

We manged to raise a record £18,000 towards the work that Construct A Future does with HMP Rochester and HMP YOI Cookham Wood. We can look forward knowing we have resources to carry out our work finding sustainable employment for offenders on release from prison.
